OUR PROGRAMS

Our Day Program

Located on 207 La Ronge Ave, NSN’s day program serves cognitively disabled adults in the region. The Day Program began providing service in early 2015 and has continually expanded in both scope and services since. Our goal is to support individuals in the enhancement and development of appropriate life skills, which include maintaining the ‘home environment’ for the Day Program.

Some of our daily activities include:

-Crafting and art

-Sharing our love of music

-Outdoor outings such as golf

-Trips to the gym

-Playing games together

-And much more!

We greatly enjoy providing our participants with person-centred care, and we are always excited to see new faces. If you’re interested in our Day Program, please reach out!

Our SILP

Located in the La Ronge Area, NSN’s Supported Independent Living Program (SILP) is funded by the Ministry of Social Services. Our SILP housing can hold up to 9 participants at a time, all of whom are supported by a SILP worker. The goal of this program is to support individuals in the enhancement, maintenance, and learning of independent living skills.

Some of the areas in which we offer support include:

-The development of positive mental health and self care habits

-The development of positive habits in areas such as personal hygiene, house cleaning, and cooking

-The development and implementation of life goals, both short and long term

-The navigation of various life events or obstacles, from social interactions to employment

We currently have four suites above the Group Home with space for six SILP clients, as well as an off-site house with space for three. We are thankful for the opportunity to work with each one of our participants and look forward to meeting those we haven’t met yet.

Ty's House

Located on Robertson Drive, our group home (named Ty’s home) provides a residential support for adults living with cognitive disability. In 2020, Community Living Services Delivery (CLSD) and NSN came together to build this group home, in collaboration with Saskatchewan Housing Authority and La Ronge Housing.
